Ants are almost everywhere in the Neotropics. They have conquered almost every niches nature has crafted.

The Cloudforest in Eastern Ecuador is home for several kinds of ants.

We found a social ants moving along the pheromone trail, as you can see they get agitated when noticing my presence, they smell my CO2 from my breathing. I hope not my smell.?
